The most spectacular event at this month's Macworld Expo 2006 was easily the unveiling of the first Intel-based Macs. It wasn't the most harrowing, however....

While Steve Jobs was laying out the latest and greatest that Apple had to offer, Jamie Dresser, Product Manager of Other World Computing, was demonstrating the ease with which an iPod's battery can be replaced by performing the upgrade on audience members' iPods ... blindfolded. With his handiwork displayed on a large-screen plasma display behind him, Dresser performed the battery swap on the iPod photo, mini, 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G over several demonstrations during the four day conference.
