Prices cut on miniStack V2

Other World Computing (OWC) and Newer Technology (NewerTech) has lowered prices on the miniStack V2 external storage solution.

The NewerTech miniStack V2 is engineered to increase drive capacity 80GB to 500GB while adding an integrated 2-Port FireWire and 3-Port USB 2.0/1.1 powered hubs that are ergonomically divided between rear and side configurations. Although designed with the Mac mini in mind, it works with any Mac or PC computer with an available FireWire or USB port.

The NewerTech miniStack V2 now retails for US$125.99 for an 80GB version (it was $135.99) and is available in capacities up to 500GB at 7200RPM. An “add your own hard drive” kit is available for $79.95. The dimensions of the NewerTech miniStack are 6.5 inches x 6.5 inches x 1.5 inches.
