MiniStack

The miniStack NAS device is used for file sharing and storage, backup and archiving, and other shared external drive access. It is available in seven 7,200-RPM models, from 80 GB to 750 GB. It features up to 16 MB of data cache. One RJ-45 10/100Base-TX plug is used for automatic switching. The machine also has a USB 2.0/1.1 port. It has data transfer speeds of up to 100 MBs per second.

Up to 20 users can access the device at the same time. The front panel LED lights show the status of the drive. Thermal monitoring reduces fan power consumption and the noise of the device.

It is compatible with Macintosh computers running operating system version 8.6 and later with an available USB port. The device also works with various PC formats, including computers running Windows ME, XP, 2000, or Vista with an available USB port.
