Now that I'm too old to worry about drinking buddies when I take a roadtrip, I look to my iPod for entertainment on those long drives. When I drove out to Washington from the midwest I listened to a couple Audible books, but found that finding a clear FM frequency on my radio was problematic at best. Finally, A simple, and inexpensive solution has been found. OWC introduces the "RoadTrip!" FM transmitter.
How does it work?
1. Plug it in to your vehicle's 12v cigarette lighter
2. Connect the standard audio analog mini-jack to your iPod or other audio player
3. Tune your radio to FM 107.7
4. Play your tunes, listen, enjoy the ride!
In my personal testing, I found it to have a good sound quality and exceptional broadcast stability. We even have another local station on the same frequency of 107.7 and I experienced no static. For $19.95 you can't go wrong. The RoadTrip works with any music player. |
