Need extra power? Replace your Apple power adapter or add to your setup with NewerTech's 65 Watt Power Adapter for PowerBook and iBook Systems.

NewerTech's 65 Watt Power Adapter for PowerBook and iBook Systems allows users to add an extra power adapter to their setup, without emptying their pockets.

In comparison to NewerTech's power adapter price of US$49.95, Apple's Power adapter, which has received many poor reviews from Apple customers on the online Apple store, sells for US$79. NewerTech's adapter works with Apple's PowerBook G4, iBook G3 Dual USB and iBook G4 systems.

While the adapters are the same thickness, NewerTech's adapter has a longer design than Apple's square 2.75" x 2.75" adapter, measuring in at 2" x 4.25". It is just slightly bulkier and heavier than Apple's adapter, but both come with 12' cords. The cords on the NewerTech adapter don't bend and fold as easily as the ones on the Apple adapter, making them more durable. The cord on the one side can be easily detached, making it easy to travel with.

Adding an extra adapter is a great way to remove the need to carry an adapter back and forth from work. This adapter is a great choice to replace or supplement Apple's original power cord. It is available for US$49.95 from Other World Computing.
