Having enough USB Ports on your computer is ever so important nowadays. I mean, it seems that almost everything needs a USB Slot in order to function, whether you are plugging in your mouse and keyboard or one of those nifty little vacuum cleaners which you can use to suck up those crumbs that manage to get in between the keys. Let me introduce you to the NewerTech 7-Port USB Powered Hub, one of the most powerful USB hubs in existence.

As you can probably guess from the name, this USB Hub allows you to power up to 7 USB 2.0 devices all at the same time. It is powered by a 4.0 Amp power supply which means that your devices won't lose power, something which commonly happens with some of the cheaper USB Hubs out there. What's more, you can even connect this up to other hubs and have up to 127 USB Devices powered at the same time without losing any power. Think how great that would be? Although most people should be fairly content with the standard 7 that the NewerTech 7-Port USB Powered Hub comes with.

So let's take a little look at this device in greater depth. For a start, it is compatible with both Mac Computers and Windows computers. There are absolutely no drivers to install, just plug it in and you are ready to go (although of course you may need to install drivers for your normal USB devices). It is incredibly portable as well, and this means that you will easily be able to carry it around in your laptop bag and whip it out whenever you need it. In addition to this, it is made with a fairly sturdy aluminium which means that it is going to stand up to even the heaviest mobile use.

As you have probably guessed by now, there are seven different USB 'A' Ports for you to connect your devices to on this hub. In addition to this, one of these hubs is a 2.1 Amp Port for charging your devices in a much quicker frame than if you connected them to a standard USB 2.0 Port.

The device transfer rate is 60MB/S which is fairly high for something like this. In fact, many of the other USB Hubs out there on the market couldn't even manage half of this. This makes the USB Hub for connecting your Portable Hard Drives to.

To cap it all off, this is one sexy looking beast and you will love it sitting on your desktop. I don't believe there is any other USB Hub on the market that even comes to close to this in terms of looks, and that is what most of us are looking for, right?

So is the NewerTech 7-Port USB Powered Hub worth a purchase? Of course it is. In my opinion this should be sitting on the desktop of every computer user out there. Sadly, many people fail to realise the amount of benefit that owning a powered USB Hub can actually bring them. However, once if you are sensible, once you start using the NewerTech 7-Port USB Powered USB Hub you will quickly realise that this is one of the best on the market at the moment.
