New high capacity PowerBook battery available

Other World Computing (OWC) and Newer Technology (NewerTech) have released what the companies say is highest capacity battery every made available for Apple’s PowerBook G4 15-inch Aluminum models.
The newest addition to the NewerTech NuPower Lithium-Ion battery family is rated at 55.5 watt hours providing almost 16 percent more run time capacity than Apple factory-shipped batteries, Larry O’Connor, CEO of OWC, says. The new batteries retail for US$139.99 and come with a one-year NewerTech warranty. A 53.3 Watt Hour model also is available for $129.99. These batteries are compatible with all of the PowerBook G4 Aluminum 15-inch models from 1.0GHz and up to the current 1.67GHz
