NewerTech on Thursday released the MAXPower 802.11g/b Wireless USB 2.0 Stick Adapter, giving Mac desktop and notebook users another option for wireless Internet connectivity.

The adapter gives users with a USB 2.0 or 1.1 port the ability to plugin and connect to the Internet wherever a network is available. NewerTech says the adapter is plug and play, so all you need to do is install the drivers and connect it to your computer.

The wireless adapter requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher and costs US$24.99.
