Other World Computing and Newer Technology announced the immediate availability of new high capacity NuPower batteries for Apple's Pismo and Lombard PowerBook G3 laptops. The battery boasts an 81 Watt Hour capacity, offering up to 56 percent longer run times than Apple's batteries. The high capacity NuPower battery is available at the NewerTech Web site, and is priced at US$169.95. A 78 Watt Hour version is available for $159.95.
